Abstract The present investigation was aimed to study the effect of agility on the productivity of teachers in female public high schools in Tehran city in the academic year of 2012–2013. The population consisted of 7241 teachers in female public high schools in Tehran city, which 547 individuals of them were chosen as a sample size using Cochran formula and relative stratified random sampling method. The data collection method was based on agility and productivity researcher made questionnaire, which some of the questions were provided using Sharifie and Zhang's agility standard questionnaire and Mc. Gaal's productivity questionnaire and the rest of them were designed according to the existed components. After distributing and collecting the questionnaires, data analysis and hypothesis testing were carried out using Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) and Smart PLS 2.0 software in two sections of measurement model and structural section. The technical features of the questionnaire including reliability, divergent and convergent validity were investigated and the significant coefficients of the software were studied in order to evaluate the research hypotheses. The findings demonstrated that agility and its dimensions (flexibility, accountability, culture of change, velocity, integrity-low complexity and central competency) affect teachers’ productivity.
