Abstract One of the major concerns of any hospitals is the time patients have to spend waiting for service. As is well known, waiting time depends on a number of quantities, such as the patient arrival rate, service rate, type of services, time of the day, and efficiency of the servers. The main focus of this report is to study the patients waiting time in Corniche Hospital, Abu Dhabi, which has been increasing daily. An effective training in various departments and a strong collective organizational behaviour is important to reduce the waiting time of patients in Corniche Hospital. To implement this research, qualitative and quantitative methods will be examined to analyse the data collected from selected respondents. Questionnaires are developed to get input and feedback from the stakeholders of Corniche Hospital. This research will also be revealing results which will highlight the influential reasons and provide solutions for issues identified.
