Training Effectiveness based on ISO-10015 Standard on the Employees of Tehran Municipality, Region 9

Abstract

The present study aims to investigate the effects of training courses effectiveness based on ISO-10015 standard on the employees of Tehran municipality region 9. The data was collected using census method from 146 persons through ISO-10015 questionnaire instruction and training effectiveness measurement questionnaire. The training performance standard questionnaire based on ISO-10015 included 24 questions for the dimensions of needs assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation and there were six questions for each of the dimensions. The questionnaire of training effectiveness measurement included nine questions for the measurement of training effective variables such as increasing productivity, competency and proficiency (behavioral and attitudinal), increasing job knowledge and increasing the quality of activities based on quintuple spectrum. Cronbach's test was employed to test the reliability of the questionnaires; it was more than 0.7 for all the dimensions, and its total value for the ISO-10015 questionnaire instruction and the questionnaire of training effectiveness measurement were 0.81 and 0.78, respectively, which demonstrated the high validity of the questionnaire. The data were analyzed using structural equation modeling and SmartPLS software and the final model is presented. The results indicated an appropriate fit of the model based on the effects of training courses effectiveness on the basis of ISO-10015 standard on the employees of Tehran municipality region 9. On other words, special attention should be given to the dimensions of needs assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation in order to have effective training based on ISO-10015, which leads to increasing productivity, competency and proficiency (behavioral and attitudinal), increasing job knowledge and increasing the quality of activities.
