Abstract This study aims to determine the feasibility of implementing a talent management system in the branches of Refah Bank in the city of Isfahan. To this end, firstly, several criteria are defined as readiness or preparatory strategic factors which help in identifying the strengths and weaknesses of the bank. These factors include support from senior management, structure of strategic human resources, criteria of goal achievement, and tools. The population of this study includes all the employees on the bank in the year 2012 who hold degrees no lower than high school diplomas. 150 participants were selected at random. Data for the study were collected using a custom questionnaire based on the questionnaire by Gay and Doris. Cronbach's alpha for the questionnaire is 0.93, with verified face and construct validity. This is an applicative, descriptive study whose hypotheses are tested using structural equation modeling. The findings indicate that strategic factors mentioned necessary for implementing a talent management system are available in Refah bank, which nevertheless need to be improved.
