Abstract

Customer Relationship Management (CRM) has changed the way of doing the business over last three decades. CRM strategies adopted by companies provided them with the sharp edged razors that distinguished themselves with companies not working on CRM with large database of customers and customer centric activities to acquire and retain customers. Now the companies using CRM in their business operations heavily depend on two distinct features: service and technology. CRM practices are heavily being used in telecommunication, financial sectors like banking and insurance. Health care and education sectors are upcoming areas where still there is huge scope of CRM initiatives to be implement. This paper tries to know the status of CRM, particularly in Higher education sector.
