Abstract Foliar application of 0.04% monocrotophos to control jassid Empoasca kerri Pruthi and pod borer Euchrysops sp, in green gram has been evaluated for residues. The insecticide was sprayed twice 4 and 6 weeks after sowing. The schedule was very satisfactory and no detectable residues were found after 60 days and also at harvest in any part of the plant.
