Objective To study and compare the effectiveness of Adductor Stretch MWM and MET on Intermalleolar distance, Single leg hop test and Star excursion balance test in subject with hip adductor tightness. Methods In this study 40 subjects who met the inclusion criteria were randomized into two groups. Group A (n-20) received single session of Adductor Stretch MWM on both sides. Group B (n-20) received single session MET on both sides. We measured pre-intervention and post intervention Intermalleolar distance, Single leg hop test and Star excursion balance test. Data was analyse using t-test. Results The group treated with Adductor Stretch MWM showed significant improvement in Intermalleolar distance (p<0.001), Single leg hop test (p<0.001) and Star excursion balance test (p<0.001) as compared to MET group. Result showed a significant difference within the groups post intervention Conclusion A single application of Adductor Stretch MWM is better as compared to MET to release hip adductor tightness, improve muscle flexibility and balance.
