Online Published on 29 June, 2022. Abstract Based on a project on diversity of nematodes from Hauz Khas lake area, the present species identified as Oscheius tipulae is redescribed here. The species was collected from decaying leaf litter belonging to order Rhabditida and characterized by having small bodyrange 0.43–0.52 mm; four lateral lines; metastegostom with setosedenticles; cylindrical corpus; uterus with 0–4 eggs in various embryonic stages; distinct sphincter between spermatheca and uterus; presence of vulval flap and proximally expanded rectum with three large rectal glands.
