Effect-of D-allethrin based mosquito repellent mats on enzyme of human serum Singh Meenu Department of Bio-Science, Barkatullah University, Bhopal-462 026. Abstract D - Allethrin is a synthetic insecticide and its chemically similar to pyrethrin. Now days D - Allethrin are generally used in mosquito mats, coils and Ivapourisable liquids etc. The various trade names of D - Allethrin used as i mosquito i-el) ellant in our country. After survey 18 adult males an females were identified for this study the Subjects (Individuals) were divided into three group of 6 each. Individual of group I without any mats (control) Group II were exposed 4% D - Alletlirin and group III exposed 2% D - Allethrin with 2% piperonyl butaoxide (Experimental) as synergist for continuous 6 hours for 12 months. Biochemical changes in 4% D - Allethrin or 2% D - Allethrin with 2% piperonyt butaoxide administration increased the activity of SGOT, Acid phosphatase, alkaline phosphatase as compared to control. Whereas SGPT activity was decreased which may be due to modification of active site of SGPT Significant changes was observed in SGOT, ACP or ALP in human serum enzyme except SIGPT. Top | |
