Online published on 1 May, 2020. Abstract Cephalic index is an important parameter in forensic medicine, anthropology and genetics to know the sex and racial differences between individuals. Facial index is also important parameter for identification of individuals in medico legal cases by forensic experts, for plastic surgeons during treatment of congenital and traumatic deformities and identifying craniofacial deformities of genetic syndromes by geneticist. The aim of this study was to find out the pattern of cephalic index & Facial index in people of Gujarat region. As medical students came from different parts of Gujarat, Study was carried out on 600 medical students of 18–23 years of age at B. J. Medical College, Ahmedabad. This study throws some lights on the recent status of Cephalofacial indices of students of Gujarat Region. Mean Cephalic Index was 81.18 & Standard Deviation was ± 4.63.
