The questionnaire was prepared and distributed to the students reading in the Bhai Gurdas library to know their preferences regarding newspaper reading. One hundred questionnaires were distributed and received from the respondents. The study covered the criteria for choosing paper, preferred time, place, language, and newspaper for reading. The data obtained through the printed questionnaire was manually analyzed using a simple percentage method and presented in tables. The study indicates that most students read newspapers when they have time, followed by daily. Maximum students read print copy followed by both and only digital copy. University students find busy schedules and the need for more time to be significant hindrances to reading a newspaper. Top Keywords University, Language, Format, Newspaper, Reading. Top |
