Abstract

Banding pattern of spindle leaf isoperoxidases were studied in six dwarf and eight tall coconut varieties using polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis. Differences in banding patterns were observed both within and between cultivars. Only Gudanjali Dwarf showed intrapopulation polymorphism among dwarfs while, Java Tall showed highest intrapopulation variation among talls.
