Success of veneer and cleft grafting at different grafting heights of seedling rootstocks in Dashehari mango Kumar S., Ram Sant, Singh C.P. Department of Horticulture, G.B. Pant University of Agriculture and Technology, Pantnagar 263 145 Summary In both veneer and cleft grafting methods, highest success (100%) was initially obtained which decreased after 3 months and then stabilized suggesting actual success should be recorded 3 months after grafting. High success in veneer and cleft grafting (> 85%) of mango was recorded when Dashehari scions were grafted at higher grafting heights (75 and 100 cm) on seedling rootstock and both the grafting methods were equally successful.
