Summary

A field trial was laid out during rabi 1977 with seven cultivars of chilli (Capcicum) spp. L) in a randomized block design with four replications to assess the partitioning of dry matter into economic and non-economic sink in pods and vegetative structures. Cultivars Jwala and NP46A showed a greater proportion of total dry matter
