Online published on 16 January, 2015. Abstract Bacillus sp. RS 5 and Rhizobium sp. RS 12 obtained from rhizosphere of Cicer arietinum were potent glucanase and chitinase producing bacterial species. In dual culture method both the strains inhibited the growth of Fusarium oxysporum, Macrophomina phaseolina, Sclerotinia sclerotiorum and in pot experiment both of them resulted in the increase in germination index. Top Keywords Antagonistic activity, chitinase, glucanase, PGPRs, phytopathogenic fungi. Top | |
