An analysis of social competence of senior secondary student of Government and Private School

Abstract

The idea of social competence is multifaceted and intricate, encompassing not only behavioral, cognitive, emotional, and social abilities but also the expectation and motivational sets necessary for effective social adaption. The objective of the present study was to evaluate the social competence of adolescents in the 13-15 age range. The idea of social competence is multifaceted and intricate, encompassing not only behavioral, cognitive, emotional, and social abilities but also the expectation and motivational sets necessary for effective social adaption. The sample was chosen at randomfrom Government and Private secondary school situated in district Ghaziabad of Uttar Pradesh. One hundred and twenty (120) adolescents were surveyed about their social competence. The data was gathered by random sampling. and analyzed, considering the goals and design of the research.
