Abstract A study was conducted to test the growth, survival potential of different worms with respect to different feeding material and an environmental factor. This study proved that the feeding activity of certain earthworm species viz., Periyonyx excavatus, Eisenia foetida and Eudrillus cugeniae depended on the moisture content of the substrate. Also some of the feeding material like cowdung showed fastest and health growth rate of earthworms when compared to poultry manure and pig manure. Top Keywords Earthworm, Feed material, Growth.
