Abstract In this paper, a model is proposed for the absorption of drugs into the blood by using the first order linear differential equations, in which the dissolution of drugs in the gastrointestinal tract, the diffusion of drugs into the blood stream and the removal of drugs from the blood by the kidneys and liver are modeled using a fuzzy parameter. The solution of the first order linear differential equation is numerically approximated by using the coefficients associated with the drug. The dissolution, diffusion and removal are determined with the use of fuzzy rule based system, which depends on the drugs and on its total induction levels. The different values of drugs in each of the system (GI-tract and Blood) are illustrated in graph. Top Keywords Absorption, Differential equation, Fuzzy set, Induction, Membership function. Top |
