Saccharomyces Cerevisiae Strains from Nectar for Wine Production Dandu Mustafa M., Dhabe Arvind S. Department of Botany, Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University, Aurangabad [M. S.] Abstract Five strains of Saccharomyces cerevisiae were isolated from nectars of Madhuca longifolia (Koen.) Macb. var. latifolia (Roxb.) Cheval, Woodfordia fruticosa Kurz, Plumbago zeylanica Linn and Aloe sp. The fermentative characters of the isolated strains were better than commercial strains.
