Antifungal activity of cabbage (Brassica oleracea var. capitata) leaf extract

Abstract

In vitro antifungal activity of Chloroform and methanol extracts of Cabbage leaves was tested against Altemaria solani, Aspergillus flavus, Aspergillus niger, Fusarium graminearum, Fusarium oxysporum and Rhizoctonia solani. The results indicated efficacy of chloroform and methanol extracts of cabbage leaves as biological control agentfor plant pathogenicfungi.
