Online Published on 23 July, 2024. Abstract Background and objective Pulp therapy in primary teeth has been performed using various instrumentation techniques. Various Nickel-Titanium (Ni-Ti) instruments are available to perform efficient root canal preparation in primary teeth. These Ni-Ti instruments has been designed to aid in better root canal preparation in primary teeth. It is necessary to assess the feasibility of using these rotary files in primary teeth. Methods This randomized controlled trial involved 36 primary molars that are equally distributed for instrumentation with Kedo-S PLUS rotary file, PEDO FLEX rotary files, and PRIME PEDO rotary files. Instrumentation time was recorded in seconds and post-operative radiographs were taken to assess the quality of obturation. Results There was no statistically significant difference noted on the quality of obturation between the three groups, though time of instrumentation was least seen in kedo s plus followed btneoendo and prime pedo rotary files. Interpretation and conclusion The kedo s plus files, neoendo rotary and prime pedo rotary files systems performed similarly with respect to the quality of obturation. there was a significant difference in instrumentation time with among the three groups.
