Abstract Impact of chawki rearing training to the Chawki Rearing Centres (CRC) owners has been studied in Ananthapur and Chittor districts of Andhra Pradesh. The results indicated that impact of chawki rearing training improved their knowledge and adoption level in young silkworm rearing technologies than the mulberry chawki technologies. Further the results indicated that Andhra Pradesh CRC owners should be focused on the importance of incubation and facilities to be improved to conduct incubation at their chawki rearing centres.
