Management of Parthenium hysterophorus L. through atrazine with Cassia uniflora extract Knox Jai, Dass Amita, Thomas Manjula, Paul M.S. Department of Botony, St. John's College, Agra-282 002, India. Abstract Evaluation of synergistic effect of aqueous extracts of Cassia uniflora and atrazine on chlorophyll disintegration and percentage mortality was achieved. Treatment having 1/2 dose of atrazine along with 10% aquous extract of C. uniflora was found to be most efffective as the amount of chlorophyll ‘a’, ‘b’, total chlorophyll, carotenoids, pigment mg/g was recorded minimum after 7 days interval of first and second spray. The studies revealed that lower dose of chemical supplemented with C. uniflora extract was found effective in controlling Parthenium hysterophorus.
