Abstract Spiromesifen 240 SC was tested for its safety to beneficial insects. Results showed that different doses of spiromesifen viz., 72, 96. and 120 g a.i. ha−1 caused 6.6, 19.0 and 28.3 reduction of predatory mite population, respectively. Adult emergence and parasitization of Trichogramma chilonis was less affected by spiromesifen @ 96 g a.i ha−1 caused 0.55% egg mortality of Chrysoperla carnea. The chemical 15.00 and 42.5 mortality of honey bees @ 96 and 120 g a.i. ha−1 after 6 hrs. of contact. Top Key words Chrysoperla carnea, Spiromesifen 240 SC, Trichogramma chilonis. Top | | | |
