Abstract The aim of this article is to understand the awareness of systematic Human resource management practices and its implementation in SME logistics firms. The topic covered in this article is very much supportive to my research work. This study is focused on small and mid-level organizations, as they are majority in the market who is behind the growth potential. This will help us to analyse how far this logistics firms are having awareness of HRM practices. Also how effective it is to operate the business using HRM practices. Logistics industry is booming in the recent years the need for the study and focus in this area. The Small and medium level firms are very important as they are of key components for economic growth. These firms are the one that can change the pace of growth in market. Logistics industry is a service industry which depends on the service provided by the employees. Professional employees are needed in the industry equipped with logistics knowledge to raise the standards of the Service. This will enable the firms to attain sustainable growth in the future. This study helps us to understand the common HRM practices followed among these firms. Also the study shows how far the awareness of benefits in systematic HRM practices in this type of organization. This analyse suggests that Human Resource Practices make employee engagement better and lead to better performance in their operation.
