Information communication technology in Indian education system

Abstract

The use of ICT in education have a great influence and makes teaching and learning process very effective. It improves the teaching skills, methods, curriculum, as well as learning of students. Use of ICT is very helpful in every area of education system such as administrative and management, examination and evaluation, clerical work, supervision and library. But the process of implementation of ICT in education is not an easy task. There are various challenges such as technical challenges, teaching and learning challenges and financial challanges. In India government has been taken the initiative to improve the qualty of education through the tools and techniques of ICT.
