Construction and Standardization of Perceived School Problems Scale

Abstract

The investigator constructed a rating scale for the stress experienced by teachers while working in school. It comprises of those factors which increase stress among teachers in their workplace namely discipline problem, time pressure, relation with student's parents, autonomy and supervisory support. The content validity of the scale was judged with the opinion of psychologist and subject experts. The reliability of the scale was calculated by test-retest method was 0.561.
