Abstract

The employee satisfaction is the level to which the employees are pleased and content with their jobs and work environment. The current research has made an attempt to analyze the satisfaction level of selected textile employees concerning their nature of work and working conditions provided by the management. The descriptive research design has been used in the present study. Convenience sampling method has been used and 466 samples were collected from textile spinning mills in Namakkal Dist. The employees are highly satisfied with the First aid facility and Physical Working Environment provided by the management and least satisfied by the casual leave facility and flexibility in change of Shifts. Hence, it is recommended for the management of spinning mills in Namakkal district to increase the amount of casual leaves and flexibility in the shifts working hours to some reasonable extent, after consulting with the trade union of the textiles mills.
