Cashless Economy: A Swot Analysis Joshi Priyanka Research Scholar, Public Administration, Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra, India Online published on 23 March, 2017. Abstract A huge initiative of demonetization taken by government firstly in order to curb black money and then termed it as an effort in making India a cashless society has become a core of concern for every citizen of India. As cashless economy will be future economy of India and it has become a controversial issue also, because some political parties are organizing demonstrations against the decision. So it is very essential for every common man to be well versed with its pros and cons. Today a lot of questions are tickling in minds of common man that how cashless economy will bring black money back?, how it will eliminate corruption from public life?, how they will become convenient with such transactions?, they are worried about security of their hard earned money from cyber crime and privacy issues are also in their concern. Here SWOT analysis i.e. strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats is presented on cashless economy and its effects on people of every class and category. Some practical suggestions are also given for successful implementation of the decision. Top | |
