Abstract The utilization of wireless communications is greatly increasing in a rapid speed in the prevailing scenario. The mobile ad hoc networks are a set of dynamic nodes which are capable of governing themselves. These dynamic nodes build a momentary network without relying on the conventional physical structures or does not requires any manual administrators. The growth and foreseen improvements requires the necessities of increased quality of service assistance in the wireless and mobile communication scenarios. The quality of support minimizes the delay in communication and improves the throughput for assuring a flawless transmission between the dynamic nodes and wireless structures. The focus is on devising a quality of support based scattered routing scheme (SRS) for improving the ability of the networks. The results of simulation revealed that the random way point design and the dynamic design reveal that the devised scheme offers elevated quality of service performance in terms of throughout, overheads, packet delivery and energy consumption.
