Abstract The design and optimization of MIMO antenna for LTE 4600 band applications is reported in this paper. This low profile nature and UWB characteristics is performed at the resonant frequency of 4.6GHz with low cost substrate FR4 epoxy material is utilized in this research work. The proposed MIMO antenna with size of 24x18mm and radiation size of 8x6mm for single element is designed in this work which is compact size compared with existing work. This proposed antenna exhibit at the return loss of -18.37dB and -21.17dB for the S11 and S22 parameters also satisfy the VSWR<2. In this paper the overall antenna characteristics and simulation result analysis with high frequency structure simulator tool (HFSS). The overall radiation efficiency is 76.47% and peak gain at 10 dB normalize is -6.3dB is displaying in this work also radiation pattern appear nearly omni directional pattern. This modified rectangular shape, compact size, wider bandwidth is recommended for LTE mobile network, WLAN and WiMAX applications. Top Keywords LTE 4600, MIMO, UWB, WLAN, WiMAX. Top |
