Abstract Mobile ad hoc networks are becoming increasingly popular in wireless technology. It has been proved to be a better alternative for next generation wireless networks, because multimedia data transactions involved huge level in applications of mobile ad – hoc networks. But guaranteed Quality of Service is difficult in MANET, due to fluctuating bandwidth, high mobility and dynamic topology. In this paper, we proposed CLC (Cross Layer with Clump) Routing Protocol which meets QOS requirements especially in multimedia data transfer. Simulation results based on the random way – point and real human mobility model shows that CLC Routing Protocol can provide guaranteed QoS in terms of end – to – end delay, throughput and overhead than another state-of-the-art solution. Top Keywords Cross Layer design, ad hoc networks, quality of service, routing algorithm, throughput. Top |
