Abstract

This study deals with the overall service quality of the commercial banks in salem district.. In the globalized era the banking sector plays a vital role in determining the economy of the country. Both Public and private sector banks such as Canara bank, Bank of India, ICICI Bank, Union Bank of India, Indian Bank, Indian overseas Bank, ING Vysya Bank and Catholic Syrian Bank are taken for this analysis. The average score analysis is applied to measure the service quality for the above mentioned banks. As the service quality is one of the part of customer relationship management, this analysis expose the service quality of these banks.
