To Study on the Linkages between Personal Competencies and Stress among Medical Representatives in Coimbatore City

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to understand and analyze the linkages between Personal competencies and its effect on Stress among medical representatives working in Coimbatore city. The present study is based on the assumption that Personal Competencies can reduce Stress among medical representatives. For carrying out the research, Systematic Simple Random Sampling design was chosen. The sample consisted of 552 Medical Representatives working at Coimbatore City. The result of the study shows that participant with a higher level of personal competencies turned out to have lower levels of stress and it can be used as a potential moderating variable in the stress process and improving the performance of the medical representatives.
