Abstract

In traditional transportation problem (TP), supplies, demands and costs are always firm. The aim of this paper develops a new approach to solve the unbalanced transportation problem where as all the parameters are not in deterministic numbers but imprecise ones. Here, all the parameters of the TP are considered to the triangular fuzzy numbers. The solution procedure is illustrated with a numerical example.
