Abstract Emotional intelligence is a contemporary and burgeoning area in behavioral research, which plays an integral role in management and society. EI directly has an impact on the behaviour of teachers’ professional well-being and social development. The study spotlights the importance of self-awareness and understanding redressing an anticipated imbalance between intellect and emotion in the life of collective minds. The paper portrays the interrelationship between background variables and EI factors like ethical and moral framework (EMF), emotional abilities and competency (EIAC), EI on self-analysis (EISEA), EI on conscientiousness (EICO) and EI on Societal Analysis (EISOA) in communicating their ideas, goals and intentions in sociological perspective. The research findings revealed the relationship between emotional intelligence with professional success and societal development.
