Abstract The extension organization has a long tradition of professional service to clientele, often at a cost of sacrifice to family and self. The result of a national study has indicated that work life issues are of great concern. By maximizing effective strategies, leaders and managers enhance their global competitiveness while creating positive work environments for their employees. This present study examines the role of work life balance and its impact on employees’ organizational commitment. It was found that there exist a positive correlation between affective commitment, continuance commitment, normative commitment and work life balance variables. The hypothesis was also substantiated with significant relation between organizational commitment and work life balance. Top | |
