Abstract Self-sufficiency projects play an important role in empowering relief seekers under the Imam Khomeini Relief Committee. Since such projects are expensive, implementing them by considering key success factors not only reduces the financial burden of this institution, it makes it possible as well to cover more households by developing more dynamic programs. Today, these benefits cannot be achieved by one company alone as companies try to focus their business around activities that they understand better and outsource other activities. This study is an attempt to evaluate the impact of outsourcing services on the productivity of employment and self-sufficiency programs of the Imam Khomeini Relief Committee. This study is categorized as an applied research in terms of objectives, a descriptive survey in terms of research methodology, and cross-sectional in terms of duration. Data were collected by a questionnaire with confirmed reliability and validity. The statistical population was comprised of the employees (n=298) of the Imam Khomeini Relief Committee of Zahedan, Iran. A sample of 168 people was selected using the Cochran formula. The results show that outsourcing advisory services improves the performance of employment and self-sufficiency programs of the Imam Khomeini Relief Committee.
