Studying the impact of job burnout and citizenship behavior on social responsibility

Abstract

In present paper, to study the impact of job burnout and citizenship behavior on social responsibility of Melli Banks in Khoram Abad, of research population (500), 217 employees were selected as sample size by Morgan table. To collect data on citizenship behavior and job burnout, a standard questionnaire was used while a structured one was utilized for social responsibility. All questionnaires were randomly distributed among population. Chronbach's α value was used to determine questionnaire reliability. Path analysis as well as multivariate regression ratios of gathered data by SPSS software package showed that job burnout impact on citizenship behavior directly and significantly while social responsibility has no impact. To this end, one can analyze that such factors as responsibility, consciousness, sportsmanship and many other affecting factors have hedged the impact of job burnout on employees of the banks. Also, present study indicated that citizenship behavior impact on social responsibility of the organization directly and significantly.
