Abstract This article aims to investigate the relationship between intellectual capital and firm value, using the control variables of firm size and financial leverage. In this research, for data collection, the information related to 50 companies listed in Tehran Stock Exchange during 2009 to 2013 (250 year-firm) has been used. Also, panel data method has been applied for analyzing the statistical data. EVIEWS software 7 and STATA version 12 were employed for research tests. The results indicate that there is a significant relationship between human capital, structural capital and intellectual capital with firm value; but no significant relationship exists between physical capital and firm value.
