Selection of Commercial Bank: Undergraduate Students’ Perspective Singh Megha Institute of Management Studies & Research, Maharishi Dayanand University, Rohtak Online published on 15 April, 2014. Abstract These days’ banks are developing strategies to attract more and more customers and add to its value. Researchers and highly skilled teams are employed to search and develop ways to lure people. What holds ultimate significance here is the criterion adopted by a customer in selecting a bank. The undergraduate segment potential as a customer has received lesser attention in context of banking. This study analyses the factors considered by an undergraduate while selecting a bank. The application of statistical technique of factor analysis resulted in ‘Customer friendly technological approach’ as the major factor driving students, followed by secured benefits and proximity.
