Abstract

Online transactions are now part of our life for some it is because of convenience or time saving while for others they are directly or indirectly compelled into it due to demonetisation. The organisations have online transaction options on their websites. The security of data, information and systems are important but many reports mention about data thefts on regular basis. It brings lot of worries in the minds of the users. The survey was undertaken to understand the worries of the users regarding security of online transactions, reporting of security break-ins, ease of doing business and data privacy. It will give a perspective to the companies about opinions of the users regarding security of online transactions and accordingly take measures plus modify their systems.
