Abstract Discovery, assessment and exploitation from opportunities may result in providing modern services to the community. Because entrepreneurship is the first and foremost stage in recognition of opportunity and identifying this opportunity is done within social context, the present research is mainly aimed at conducting a review of the effect of social environment on recognition of entrepreneurial opportunities (opportunity identification) in plant wild life. In this paper, the theoretical framework has tested the impact of independent variables (social confidence, social norm, and social networks) on moderating variable (risk ability) and dependent variable (recognition of opportunity). Methodology is based on gathering quantitative information-surveying. In this study, the statistical population includes all graduate students in the field of agriculture at the universities in Abadeh city (Fars Province-Iran) where among 1000 graduates, about 100 participants were elected as samples by computation via Cochran's formula and questionnaires were distributed among them and validity of questionnaire was verified by the technique of content validity and its reliability by means of Cronbach's Alpha (0.8 per each of indices). The results indicate that risk ability may affect recognition of opportunity directly and positively.
