Abstract The existence of dynamic social and economic conditions of today society has turned stress into an inseparable member of people's lives. Stress enters the organizations via people, while the organizations may double these stresses due to improper combination of management attempts or inattention to employee's situation. Stress creation in the workplace will result in negative short term and long term consequences for the organizations; therefore, the recognition of stress factors and the implementation of proper management strategies to reduce them are considered as a vital issue in organizations. Considering the performed studies in recognizing the stressors in workplaces and the proposed strategies to manage them, in this article the flaws of these studies have been determined and some suggestions have been proposed to reduce stress in workplaces.
