Abstract Nowadays, information systems are one of the most important strategic resources in any organization. Discussion of Enterprise Architecture has been introduced to improve the design and management of information systems and improving their quality and effectiveness in the process of any organization activity. Enterprise architecture process includes three general phases of information technology strategic planning, enterprise architecture planning and implementation of enterprise architecture, that error in each phase can lead to errors in the whole of architecture and impose large economic costs and time on the organization. According to architectural output, if it is possible to draw a model of the issue and then evaluate it before the implementation of enterprise architecture, occurring possible defects during the next phase of enterprise architecture implementation can be avoided. In this paper, first we analyze system reliability by using details of the interior parts and architectural paths by an analytical approach. In the second phase, a method will be provided for creating executable model of TOGAF artefacts, based on colored Petri Nets. Using the results from the model proposed in this research and analysing them, one can detect architecture problems in independent pathways and to modify the architecture products, this will finally reduce costs in the implementation phase of architecture. Top Keywords Enterprise architecture, Assessment of performance, Reliability, Colored Petri Net and Fault tree. Top |
