Abstract The present study attempts to investigate the effect of organizational communications in crisis management which has been conducted as case study on 350 staffs working in Tehran`s municipality with a statistical sample including 76 managers and staff. The sample has been selected using random sampling. The data has been collected using questionnaire. Also, the reliability of the used questionnaire has been tested using alpha Cronbach coefficient (0.715). To analyze the gathered data, single sample t-test, two-phrase test and Kolmogorov–Smirnov test also have been used. Based on the research findings, there is a relation between presenting various information such as the access to timely, proper, accurate, and prompt information.
