Abstract It is established that industrial/business cluster occupies unique position in the economic development of the nation. In this review paper, an attempt has been made with a primary objective to arrange the publication on industrial/business cluster in orderly manner. Earlier studies on review (Phambuka-Nsimbi, 2008 and Arif, 2012) have not categorized the literature on these bases. We have presented the literature classification scheme by categorizing the articles in six sub-themes as Cluster and Technological Innovation (contenta), Cluster and Entrepreneurship (contentb), Cluster and Competitive Advantage (contentc), Cluster and Productivity (contentd), Cluster and Cooperation (contente), and others (contentf).
