Volatility and Cointegration in Export of Livestock and Marine Products of India Gurung Bishal Indian Agricultural Statistics Research Institute, New Delhi-110 012 Online published on 10 September, 2013. Abstract This study has examined the instability and volatility in the export of livestock and marine products of India. The study has revealed that marine export has been more stable and less volatile than export of livestock products. The cointegration between the two was also tested and it was concluded that the two export data series were cointegrated. One of its benefits is that the long-run equilibrium relationship can be modelled by a straightforward regression involving the levels of variables. The forecasts have been made are quite reliable.
