Increasing Farm Income through Integrated Farming Practices in Tamil Nadu Perumal M., Prakash T., Senthil P., Manavalan S. PG and Research Deparement of Economics, Urumu Dhanalakshmi College, Trichy – 600 019, Tamil Nadu Online published on 9 October, 2012. Abstract The study carried out in Trichy distrct in 2011–2012, has found the extent of integrated farming being practised, cropping pattern and crop yield, livestock income, utilization of farm wastages, and problems of integrated farming in the study area. The study has found that paddy and banana are main crops but income is more from banana than paddy. The livestock is an important asset and it supplements farmers’ income.
