Abstract

This paper has estimated the effects of cropped area, rainfall and year on the production of chilli, ginger and turmeric crops in the north-east region of India. To evaluate the impact of these crops, three regression equations for each of the crops have been fitted by the method of least squares. To examine the significance of the estimated regression equations, analysis of variance has been carried out for each crop, viz. chilli, ginger and turmeric separately.
